Since the mid 1990's in Australia and in ALL OTHER major countries there has been a huge increase in the theft of all types of Trailers eg. Boat Trailer, Jet Ski Trailer, Caravan, Camper Trailer and other towable or drivable vehicles.
It has got to the stage where you cannot leave a towable or drivable Vehicle on a private driveway, on the grass in the front of a House, in a backyard, while parked at a Boat Ramp Car Park or public car parking area without the fear of it being stolen. This is a scary fact...
About 25% of stolen Boat and Boat Trailer or Jet Ski and Jet Ski Trailer the thieves only want items such as the boat's motor, electronics and accessories or the Jet Ski.
But to remove a motor from a Boat would be too time consuming outside a house or in a public car parking area or stealing a Jet Ski would take 2 - 3 people and they would need a Trailer or Ute to put the Jet Ski on and would take too long.
Therefore it is much easier and quicker for a thief to steal the Boat and Trailer or Jet Ski and Trailer as this can normally be achieved by one thief in less than one minute. The Boat Trailer can then be taken to a quiet location where the parts they want can be striped off.
A thief can steal a Boat Trailer, Caravan, Camper Trailer, Jet Ski Trailer, Go Kart Trailer and other valuable towable or drivable vehicles in less than one minute.

Place a physical restraint on one Wheel
to prevent the Trailer being stolen.
Problem With Other Manufacture's Wheel Clamps
There are numerous wheel clamps manufactured and sold world-wide. Practically all these wheel clamps are designed the same way. They have three arms that wrap around the width of the tyre and nothing that secures the Wheel Clamp to the vehicle's chassis.
There are a number of problems with this design and below are a couple the main problems.
- Each Wheel Clamp will only fit one diameter and width Wheel properly. Some say their Wheel Clamp will fit a 165 - 175mm width Wheel but as you must realise it will still only fit one of those widths properly. This means before purchasing a Wheel Clamp you have to measure the diameter and width of the Wheel you want to protect.
- Cannot use the Wheel Clamp on another Vehicle with a different diameter and width Wheel.
- Only wraps around the tyre and does not wrap around the vehicle's springs or tubular frame.
- Deflate the tyre and some wheel clamps can be removed.

Overview
Most all other wheel clamps sold throughout the World have 3 arms that wrap around the width of the tyre and some type of lock at the front or side. There are many faults with this design.
We did not want to manufacture just another Wheel Clamp, we wanted to design Wheel Clamp that not only wraps round the width of the tyre, it also had to be secured to some part of the towable and drivable Vehicle eg. round the leaf springs or tubular frame as used to manufacture most caravan's chassis.
After almost 12 months of designing and testing various methods to secure one Wheel on a towable and drivable Vehicle in our factory in Perth, Western Australia we finally thought of a design that is an entirely different method compared to any other Wheel Clamp sold world-wide. Our first sale for the Supreme Trailer Security Wheel Clamp was to a client in Sydney Australia in June 2008.
Since then we have sold countless numbers of Trailer Security Wheel Clamp throughout Australia plus we have exported to the USA, Canada, UK, some countries in Europe.

The design consists of what we named Steel Shield made from Stainless Steel that stands in front of the Wheel and 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain used to secure the Steel Shield to the Wheel and to the vehicle's leaf springs or chassis.
As you can see in the picture to your right there are no arms that wrap around the width of the tyre instead we use 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain to secure the Steel Shield to the Wheel at 4 points and to the vehicle's leaf springs or tubular frame, used to manufacture most caravan's chassis, at 2 points and locks at the front with a Padlock or our patent pending locking system we include with the Supreme Trailer Security Wheel Clamp.
